Labor Types

FSN uses both employed technicians and sub-contracted labor in order to serve its customers across the country. FSN has decided upon this labor model to both provide lower cost to the customer, but also to improve service levels throughout the country.

FSN self-performs service work in most major metropolitan areas as it has designed its workforce to operate in only those areas where the density of customer sites can keep an employee fully allocated without any incentives to find ancillary work throughout the day. To ensure service responsiveness in these markets, FSN leverages a network of actively managed service contractors to perform service work as a complement to FSN's own technicians. In markets where density is not great enough to justify a full-time FSN employee, FSN simply uses its network to service customer locations.

FSN is a truly labor agnostic solution that only uses its own technicians as a way to reduce cost and improve service for the customer. If a customer would prefer to not use this resource, FSN will simply use non-FSN employed resources to perform services for the customer. In the case where a customer does wish to have FSN technicians perform work, the labor rate is guaranteed to be less than the lowest negotiated rate in any given market in order for FSN customers to be fully confident in FSN's use of its own labor as a cost reduction methodology.
